Meriden CT – November 9, 2007 |  The Response Insurance Group announced two senior management appointments. It has named John Ammendola as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and President of the Company's insurance operating subsidiaries for this national auto insurer, and Susan Stonehill Claflin as Vice President & General Counsel.

Mr. Ammendola has 17-years experience in the insurance industry, most recently as Senior Vice President – Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis with Safeco Insurance Company in Seattle, Washington. In his new role with Response, Mr. Ammendola will have responsibility for the product, underwriting, information technology, claims and actuarial areas of the Company

Ms. Claflin has more than 25-years experience in law and the insurance industry, including 18-years in various legal and executive roles with Travelers in Hartford, Connecticut. In her new role, Ms. Claflin will oversee the Response’s legal and human resources areas.
