White Plains NY – May 15, 2001 |  Response Insurance, a national direct-to-the-consumer auto insurance company, recently opened a new facility in Melville to serve as its full service claims regional office for the northeast.

Response Insurance is leasing a 7,500 square foot suite of offices at 175 Pinelawn Road. The initial staff of ten located at that office will be increased to meet the needs of the Company as it continues to expand into additional states.

“We looked at several other sites from here to Albany, but Long Island won out,” said Tom Rocchio, Vice President of Claims. “Melville offered us a very desirable central Long Island location and proximity to a highly qualified pool of employees.”

The Company is headquartered in White Plains, NY and also has a West Coast call center in Suisun City, CA.
